CordAI
A Discord bot that turns plain requests into real server changes, by chat, by voice or from an AI coding agent.
Overview
Ask for a support area with private ticket channels and CordAI builds it: categories, channels, roles and permissions. One core handles three entry points: a slash command, an Alexa skill and an MCP server.
What it does
Setting up a Discord server means a lot of clicking: categories, channels, roles, permission overrides, webhooks. CordAI lets the owner describe the result in a sentence and does the clicking. Behind it is an agent with a set of typed tools that can create, move, rename and audit almost anything on a server. There is also a ticket system with buttons.
One core, three ways in
- Chat: the
/cordaislash command, with live progress posted while the agent works. - Voice: a custom Alexa skill sends the spoken request to the bot through an outbound tunnel, so no public port is ever opened. Destructive changes ask for a spoken “yes”.
- MCP: a Model Context Protocol server exposes the same operations to AI coding assistants, so a server can be managed from a coding session.
All three call the same module of Discord operations, so a fix or a new tool only has to be written once.
Safety and cost
A bot with admin rights driven by a language model has to be fenced in. Only the server owner can give orders, every tool has a typed schema, and anything destructive needs confirmation.
It runs on a small cloud VM with a hard spending cap: if the monthly cost goes over the limit, the machine shuts itself down instead of sending a surprise bill.
Custom voice skills: a calendar briefing, a conversational assistant and a bridge to a Discord bot.
