Privacy policy

This policy explains how J4tz, an independent developer based in Spain (European Union), handles personal data in connection with the website j4tz.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The short version

This is an informational website. It uses no advertising, tracking cookies, analytics or profiling. Your data is not sold or shared with advertisers. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme preference.

What is processed

• Server logs: the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser, requested URL and time, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
• What you send: if you email hello@j4tz.com, your message and contact details are processed to reply and, where relevant, to manage a project.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is used only to run and secure the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and to answer communications you start (steps at your request and legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). It is never used for advertising or to train artificial-intelligence models.

Providers

The site is hosted on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, region europe-west1), acting as processor. Email is handled by an email provider. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by emailing hello@j4tz.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Products

Some products, such as the Discord bot CordAI, have their own privacy policy, linked from their project page.
